Synopsis:
TanThai Book is a guide book for Thai students who wants to pursue higher education in the US. It helps you get started in preparation of university admission. It also talks about student life, living expense, travel, weather, and other aspects you need to know to live your life aboard. The content is basically captured from TanThai.Com website which written by a group of former Thai students who used to study in USA. The website has been a portal for exchanging experiences and knowledge and help a lot of Thai students get started since 1999. Later on, due to some difficulty maintaining the web (it was hacked multiple times basically), the co-founders were agreed to close down the website in 2004, and, hence, a book version is released.
TanThai Book has been sold in the book market for about 3 years now, and the sale has done a pretty good job. I think that it is time to give back by sharing the electronics version to public domain for FREE. This way people can access to the content just like the old days when TanThai.Com was fully filled with such information. I hope that students, teachers, parents, or non-profit organization will benefit from the material somehow. Hope you find it helpful and enjoy reading!
